I just checked my CafePress account, and somehow I actually made two sales!

That's pretty awesome, especially considering that the first sale was for a thong with Em on it. XD

In other news, I'm sorry for not submitting anything lately. I've been busy getting situated at VCU, but I did draw a still life recently for my drawing class that I might upload here. However, I'm not very happy with it because I had to use HB pencil for it. I hate using HB pencil because you can get practically no tone variation with it. Boooo. Charcoal and color for the win. I'm really worried that my drawing will be lousy compared to the others, though. :

Well, I won't be shy about posting my work when I can get around to actually making some more of it. It's just that I don't want to fill my gallery with old art or Gaia commissions, and I haven't really gotten around to starting anything new yet.

I actually throw a LOT of stuff like that in Scraps... tons of stuff in there ^_^; There's a lot of people around here that do Gaia commissions too, so I wouldn't feel weird about putting that in your regular gallery.

That's true. I just don't want to make it seem like that's the only kind of art I do, even though from June to September this year the only things I drew in my free time were Gaia commissions. It almost makes me not want to go back to doing them, but I'd hate to close my shop on Gaia already. ><

I guess I should upload my favorites though, and some of the samples I made for the shop before that. XD Since I don't have time to make much art in general right now, it would be a good way to add more to my gallery. I'll have to add my portfolio pieces when I get around to photographing them, too. XD
